TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE
By using this site, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
Utah law requires Utah Patients Coalition (UPC) to disclose to the Utah Lieutenant Governor personal data about donors to the campaign. For individual donors, this data includes name and postal address. The information you provide is used to fulfill this requirement. Except as provided in this section, personal information submitted when donating to UPC will not be shared with other groups.
HOW WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
UPC uses industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption on all Web pages where donations are submitted. To make donations to UPC you must use an SSL-enabled browser. (Any current version of Firefox, Internet Explorer or Safari will work.) This protects the confidentiality of your personal and credit card information while it is transmitted over the Internet.
CREDIT CARD INFORMATION
Credit card numbers are not stored by us. They are submitted directly to a secure third party vendor for processing.
The site may use cookie and tracking technology if you use the "Remember Me" function. The cookies are useful for gathering information such as browser type and operating system, tracking the number of visitors to the site, and understanding how visitors use the site.
COMMITMENT TO DATA SECURITY
Your personally identifiable information is kept secure. Only authorized employees and vendors (who have agreed to keep information secure and confidential) have access to this information. All emails and newsletters from this site allow you to opt out of further mailings.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS
A donation to UPC is not refundable. UPC may, in its discretion, issue a refund if the donation was made in error or if the donor makes a written request within 48 hours of the donation.
